Thats one heck of a hurricane, glad to hear you are okay and I hope they can get things back to normal soonish although it sounds like they're going to have to rebuild most of the power network, which might not be a bad thing long term.

Just a washer and a dryer gone, you may count yourself lucky. I had been following the news from hour to hour...Florida was hit hard. Thought about you when they said your town was flooded...feared for the worst so very good to hear of you.

Holland has a history of severe floodings so I do have an idea whats going on.

(and now quit slacking and come raiding...;) )

Just want to let everyone Know that I am alive and kicking the dogs and puppies have survived  house has  minor damage, lost our washer and dryer form the porch got SUCKED away. Have had no power or internet since Monday  just got it back late yesterday afternoon. Fema has declared most of Florida a DISATER area. May take weeks for every thing to get back to normal. Have had to work around the clock since Friday due to us being a Safe Shelter and having to feed over a 1000 people cause we where the only ones with  power ( aka  Generator). parts of downtown Jacksonville  FLOODED  Historical Riverside Florida and the list goes on. Rule of thumb when a evacuation is in a effect HEED the warning people you do not know what may happen. As of today  over 45% of Florida still has now power.
